As a Menlo Worldwide Logistics engineer, you will lead supply chain improvement projects focused on understanding, predicting and/or improving all facets of the customer’s logistics operations. Specific emphasis is placed upon the ability to generate, develop and implement logistics-related cost-reduction projects within a Lean manufacturing environment.

An engineering position at Menlo Worldwide Logistics requires a demonstrated ability to perform complex engineering and data manipulation, along with strong analytical skills and orientation toward data-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of transportation modes and supply chain solutions, and be a critical thinker with strong problem-solving and project-management skills.   • Supply Chain Engineer: Primary responsibilities include the development, description and cost estimation of supply chain solutions in response to current or potential customers’ requests for proposals. This group works with solutions engineering analysts to support and validate new supply chain concepts.
  • Solutions Engineering Analysts: This group is responsible for the application of Menlo Worldwide Logistics’ suite of analytical and decision-making tools in support of on-going proposals and projects. This group embraces the most current optimization and modeling technologies to design and validate Menlo Worldwide Logistics' leading-edge solutions.
  • Material Handling/Facility Design and Layout: This group is responsible for moving a new client’s distribution center requirements from concept to fully operational by working with vendors to develop the most efficient and practical storage and solutions for a given facility. Material-handling engineers also develop plans and processes for material handling and storage solutions.
