Con-way Inc. Reports First-Quarter 2008 Results
Apr. 16, 2008 - Con-way Inc. (NYSE:CNW) today reported net income from continuing operations for the first quarter of 2008 of $22.5 million (after preferred stock dividends), or 47 cents per diluted share. The results compared to first-quarter 2007 net income from continuing operations (after preferred stock dividends) of $24.9 million, or 51 cents per diluted share.
Con-way Freight Announces Major Hiring Initiative in Southeast Michigan and Northwest Ohio
Apr. 04, 2008 - Con-way Freight, a less-than-truckload carrier and subsidiary of Con-way Inc. (NYSE: CNW), today announced that it is creating 50 new inside sales jobs and will hold a job fair Tuesday, April 8, at its Michigan headquarters to immediately fill these positions. The job fair will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. at Con-way Freight's Ann Arbor location at 4880 Venture Drive.
