(NYSE:CNW) today reported net income from continuing operations for the first quarter of 2008 of $22.5 million (after preferred stock dividends), or 47 cents per diluted share. The results compared to first-quarter 2007 net income from continuing operations (after preferred stock dividends) of $24.9 million, or 51 cents per diluted share.
