Con-way Freight Honored by Tennessee Trucking Association
Oct. 02, 2008 - Con-way Freight received a first-place fleet safety award at Tennessee Trucking Association's (TTA) Annual Convention. The less-than-truckload carrier and subsidiary of Con-way Inc. (NYSE: CNW) today announced that it was recognized by TTA in the Less-Than-Truckload 15 Million Miles and Over category for its exemplary safety record and practices. The awards were presented earlier this month at TTA's 78th Annual Convention, held at the Sandestin Hilton Resort in Destin, Fla.
Con-way Updates Earnings Guidance
Oct. 01, 2008 - Con-way Inc. (NYSE: CNW) today announced that 2008 full-year earnings from continuing operations are expected to be between $2.60 and $2.80 per diluted share. Previously, Con-way expected 2008 full-year diluted earnings per share from continuing operations to be between $3.00 and $3.40.
