| Summary of Job Description: |
This position is responsible for leading and managing the Business Continuity / Recovery Program for a major global retail customer. This program involves developing, sustaining, expanding, improving, and, if required, implementing a recovery operation for our customer using our systems, facilities and staffing resources.
The BCP Program would include:
- Real Estate
- Information Technology Solution
- Distribution Center Planning
- Labor Planning
- Financial Management for the program
- Process Mapping and Design for DC Operations
- Interaction with Transportation Department, Order Planning, and Risk Managers
This position will grow into expanded BCP service offerings to other customer business units as well as support for other elements of the account. |

- Crisis Management Leadership Capabilities
- Vendor Management and Vendor Compliance
- Strategic Planning with the Ability to Develop a Tactical Plan
- Strong Communication Skills – Verbal, Written, and Facilitation Skills
- Must be able to give presentations to Sr. Management
- Knowledge of IT systems a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc.

| Primary Responsibilities: |
- Execute development and deployment of BCP program to the highest possible state of readiness to include:
- Real estate strategy and Facility availability
- IT Solution and Testing
- Operational Processes and Readiness Testing
- Invocation & Operations Startup Processes
- Communication tools and other critical documentation.
- Evaluate & report project status on a regular basis.
- Manage financial performance of project throughout all phases.
- Lead recovery site activation/implementation in the event of solution implementation.

Qualifications and Experience: |
- This Position requires 7-10 years supply chain, logistics, warehouse and transportation operations management experience.
- Candidate should have experience and training in crises and startup project management.
- Project & Program Management Training and Experience
- Budgeting, Planning and P&L Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics or related field preferred
