| Summary of Job Description: |
This position will be responsible for overall operations and supply chain analysis (e.g., what-if scenario modeling), metrics production/development, and process documentation. Primary responsibilities will be to direct daily activities in all areas of warehouse operations, including inbound, outbound, and inventory control. A strong emphasis will also be placed on developing and sustaining process documentation, employee development and performance metrics. Must have the ability to organize, schedule, plan daily activities, and build highly motivated performance teams while supporting operations staff with technical knowledge. Understanding and evaluating conclusions of analysis and metrics is required, facilitated by drill-down and root-cause investigation. The ability to meet deadlines and commitments is essential. Candidate will have a thorough knowledge of the tools involved to create analysis and metrics. The successful candidate should have at least 5 years leadership experience in a high volume, multi-client distribution center.
Environment is fast-paced, successful candidate will be comfortable re-prioritizing workload to support urgent requests while working on several projects or assignments at one time. Must be able to multi-task. This individual must be a team player and work well in a diverse group to accomplish complex tasks. |
| Primary Responsibilities: |
- Defines requirements for operation and ensures the implementation of new strategies and initiatives to effectively meet or exceed requirements and customer expectations.
- Ensure safe work environment for all employees

- Productivity Based location product placement (product slotting) knowledge needed

Experience
- This Position requires 5-7 years managerial experience (education may substitute for years of experience).
Education
- Degree in Logistics or related field required. MBA is a plus.

Work Environment
- The duties of this job are performed in both an office environment and a warehouse environment, thereby experiencing some minor to moderate level of noise due to office equipment and warehouse equipment. May require extended hours in order to meet customer’s needs. Travel may be required to customer locations.
